    Very spacious unit with a great balcony and ocean view. Close enough to the town centre without the hustle and bustle of the street on event days. Great holiday unit with all the comforts of home.

    This property is on the 7th floor of the Fountain Court complex, which has a lift. The property is old and could do with maintenance from sticking doors to get into the complex to sliding doors in the actual apartment. The dishwasher was unusable as it was leaking because the door didn’t seal, but this was not an important factor to us. The unit is very spacious, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large living areas which lead out to verandahs with water views. It has a washer and dryer as well as a clothes airer. The accommodation needs a really good deep clean. We spent our first few hours there cleaning and, although I like a clean house, I am not overly fussy. The unit had been surface cleaned but the main toilet had not been cleaned properly and we found a plate behind the curtains in the lounge. We then had to go out and buy cockroach spray the next day as we had numerous cockroaches, large and small, coming from behind the dishwasher and in the kitchen. This unit could be so much better with a good clean, pest control and maintenance. We have rented a number of times in Port Macquarie and this is the first accommodation where I have submitted negative feedback. Note also there is no airconditioning, just floor fans but a wonderful breeze comes through the sliding doors. The Port Macquarie Bowling Club is just down the road and it is a short walk to the water and about 15-20 walk minutes to town centre.

      Thank you for your review. Your feedback is important to us. In reference to the sticking doors leading into the complex I have reported this to Strata, as for the glass sliding doors in the unit there were all serviced just prior to Xmas, so I will ask the contractor to re attend to them. I apologise that the cleanliness was not up to standard. I will take this up with our cleaning contractors.

    This property is well located but veerrrry poor presentation. Cooking utensils unuseable, beds worse than street discarded ones. Patio door almost unlockable, filthy filthy filthy, rangehood caked with grease that dripped onto cooktop, personal fans unuseable due to dirt and dust. we had to scrub kitchen and pantry before we could unpack our food. Embarrasment to the paying public
