  Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Crystal Waters 6. The apartment is in a great location and had everything we needed. We didn't mind dealing with a bit of noise from outside, a tight parking spot, and the hike up the stairs to the unit. That was all expected and I think reflected in the price of the stay. This is an older apartment complex in the middle of town, so limit your expectations.
  
  We did have some disappointment around the cleanliness of the unit, and some basic maintenance issues.
  
  The main areas like the kitchen bench and floors were clean when we arrived. Beyond that, it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time. For example, the bathroom was pretty gross and even had an old band-aid on the floor. I went to put my child's clothes in a bedroom cupboard and one shelf had nail clippings on it, the other drawer had a pile of sand in it.
  
  Aside from the cleanliness, other little annoyances are the TV reception doesn't work properly; there's only 5 mins of hot water; there's a massive weird floor lamp in the middle of the modular couch for some unknown reason, and the toilet seat is cracked and is most likely from the 80s.
  
  I mean come on, at least replace your toilet seat. They cost about $20 at Bunnings and I promise no guest wants their rear end pinched when they sit down.
  
  But other than all of those complaints, it was fine.

  This place was really nasty. The cushions were so dirty I would not use them, there were 3 coat hangars, the plastic toilet seat was cracked & dirty, the broom was so dirty I could not use it, a blind in the living area was torn & unusable, the paring space was waaay too narrow & on the holiday weekend the place was very noisy early in the morning!

  Fantastic location within reach of restuarants and shops, not to mention Beach Bums Cafe with the best view and hollandaise sauce ever! Forster beaches and Wallis Lake was amazing. The fishing was fantastic and there are so many things to do in the lake, canoeing, kayaking, boating. Yiu can swim there and if you are lucky enough you will see the dolphins and even have them swim close to you. The swans will also come out to say hello. They have the best oysters! Also if you walk along the track at Bennetts lookout (best view) you come to Ine Mile Beach with the Sand Dunes and experience the most stunning view, so breath taking! Would recommend a visit to Forster.

  An older property but apartment is fitted with newish kitchen and bathroom, is clean and comfortable. No aircon in bedrooms only ceiling fans. Windows open about 10cms so airflow is limited. The apartment is close to restaurants and main shopping strip which is very convenient, but deliveries and garbage trucks start early in the morning - about 5.30am - and can be noisy. Front door lock very stiff and sliding door to balcony was very hard to close. Both need attention by property manager. Someone may break the key in the lock.
  Overall we were happy.

  We had a great stay in this property with our 2 daughters (aged 7 and 5). It's a third floor walk-up so be ready for a leg work out. The views are lovely, and it's much quieter than we thought it would be.

  on arrival fuund electronic blinds n0t working.
  sliding door to veranda badly in need of repair.
  TV in bedroom not working.
  Much of storage space blocked off.
  Repair man called and partly repaired blinds,but
  were still not working properly.Told me door was
  no good and would report this to office .no reply.
  Definitely not up to standqrd of previous visits
  pre-pandemic.Would not recommend in present condition.
