Access by car ferry at Settlement Point which only takes a short 5 minute crossing, the ferry runs 24 hours a day at a cost of $8.00 each way or you can purchase a weekly ticket for $45. There is no shops on the North Shore so you will need to do your groceries before heading over. Both Woolworths & Coles are closeby.

Go for a stroll or bike ride down to either the open surf beach or the break-wall protected Bay Beach. You can drop the boat in the Hastings River & explore the beautiful waterways, hire a kayak or do a spot of fishing or why not take a 4WD up the track to Point Plomer or Crescent Head.

Port Macquarie boasts many wonderful restaurants and cafes, shopping centres and many other beautiful beaches to choose from, all within 10 minutes of the holiday house.

Local attractions include beach, surfing, camel rides, horse riding, fishing, golf, The Glasshouse, Koala Hospital, movies, Sea Acres Reserve, whale watching, river cruises, jet boating, sea plane, sky diving, wineries, breweries, macadamia farm, Ricardo's tomatoes and strawberry picking, restaurants, cafes, bars, country drives, waterfalls, bush walking, bowling, day spas.......

  The location is great. Factor in the Ferry cost. If staying for a week buy the Weekly ticket for $45. $8 one way adds up quickly.
  The air condition in the lounge room couldn’t be used due to something crawling in & dying. Stinky and unfortunately couldn’t be fixed on a Friday afternoon. No ones fault.
  Cleaner didn’t do a good job on the handbasin around the taps and the downstairs shower was grotty. Including insects covering the back of the door.
  Unable to use the downstairs shower if the upstairs shower in use. Water just dribbled.
  As we had 10 people in the house over the weekend for a wedding this was inconvenient. Also the two slice toaster ??
  Bunks & single bed are a bit squeaky.
  Padlock on two of the main bedroom wardrobe doors impacted the hanging space for clothes. Vacuum cleaner, toys and clothes horse stored in the wardrobe in the other room.
  
  Clothes horse broken.
  Flyscreen wire needs replacing on one of the sliding doors. Doorlocks stiff and hard to open.
  Kitchen cupboards and benches outdated. Usable except for one door hinge that is broken. Appliances good.

  It just needs some TLC

  The property was in a quiet beautiful location. Water at your doorstep, beaches a short ferry ride away. Plenty of things to do or just relax. The property prompted us to extend our stay.

  It was the most relaxing hoilday I have been on with my family of 10 so far we go on 2 holidays a year and they all said it's our new go to place it was clean comfy homley and peaceful the stuff were very helpful the water is your back yard with dolphins and fish the boat hire place is across the way was cheap very happy will be returning the only bad thing I could even say about it all was it didn't have enough deep dishes to put in oven and it only had 1 big pot when your cooking for 10 it was a bit inconvenient but I just went to shop and brought one
