    Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to enhance the warmth, charm and character of this beautifully positioned two-storey waterfront holiday home.

    This spacious property features four bedrooms: the main bedroom upstairs offers a king-size bed and air conditioning, the second and third bedrooms both include queen beds, and the fourth bedroom downstairs is fitted with a double/single tri-bunk. There are two bathrooms with two separate toilets, ceiling fans throughout and a well-equipped kitchen complete with quality appliances and a dishwasher. The open-plan lounge and dining area capture stunning canal views, while the downstairs games room provides the perfect space for family fun.

    Enjoy the in-ground saltwater pool and the large outdoor entertaining area which is ideal for summer BBQs as you watch dolphins glide through the canal. A laundry with washing machine and dryer is available, along with a highchair for guest use. Free Wi-Fi is also included.

    Parking is easy with a single garage plus ample driveway space. Boats can be launched at McInherney Park boat ramp and driven straight around to your private jetty for convenient mooring.

    This holiday house is just a short drive to the Town Centre & Settlement City shopping centre, Hibbard Sports Club, restaurants, cafes, beaches and sporting facilities & just a short walk to Settlers Inn Hotel. It is also just cross the road from Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium which offer's fitness classes & daily activity programs.

    Local attractions include beach, surfing, camel rides, horse riding, fishing, golf, The Glasshouse, Koala Hospital, movies, Sea Acres Reserve, whale watching, river cruises, jet boating, sea plane, sky diving, wineries, breweries, macadamia farm, Ricardo's tomatoes and strawberry picking, restaurants, cafes, bars, country drives, waterfalls, bush walking, bowling, day spas.......

      We are 3 generations, a family of 9, had a wonderful week at this house, spacious, games room and pool box very well stocked with everything you could need. Kitchen was great for cooking, pantry stocked with staples, barbequed one night, great outdoor seating. Well positioned with Settlers Inn hotel with Bistro 10 minute walk one direction, Aldi supermarket 10 minutes other direction. Good size rooms, very comfortable beds.

      A very comfortable property with a lovely holiday decor as well as being on the canal.Every thing in the property you could need and a welcome package as well, was much appreciated.Our holiday was limited due to the extreme wet weather but we are returning here again.       We stayed at 24 Hibbard Drive for a week with some family and friends. It was great to be able to utilise their private jetty for our boat. The house is lovely very well set up and we really enjoyed our stay.
      But I would say they could do a little bit of maintenance on things like the main bedroom wardrobe doors that don’t work, put a lock on the back door so our things are safe when we go out. And we were shocked there was no Wi-Fi. In this day and age I think that is an absolute necessity especially with children so they can still watch their streaming shows.

      The stay was excellent as usual, access to the canals is brilliant, and the house was very well presented, with improvements to the beds and furnishings since our last stay which was great !

      Ideas for possible improvement,
      * Access to side gate for retrieval of boat.
      * WIFI is now usually included as standard in holiday rentals - paying upwards of 2K a week for a property, in our view WIFI should be included.


      Issues
      There was a minor black ant invasion that happened on day 3 perhaps due to the rain, they were coming in at the corner of the kitchen and the loungeroom, perhaps through the floor above the far garage which doesn't have rental access, but they may have been coming up through there or it's northern wall above the kitchen. After spraying and when the sun came out on Wed they stopped tracking in.

      Lovely house in excellent position. Had everything we needed for a family of all ages. The pool was definitely a bonus and well used. Only small issue was the lack of air conditioning in the other bedrooms but the ceiling fans were a help.

      A great stay! 9 of us fit very comfortably into the home. The hosts cater for your every need, pool, pool table, huge entertainment area beside the pool. Loads of games for the kids to play.

      It was an amazing location to house our boat so we could just step off the floating pontoon on to the boat to go out each day fishing.
      The house was amazing with plenty of room and immaculate throughout. The added bonus of a gift box was generous.
      The house was centrally located and being walking distance to Settlers Inn was very convenient.
      The staff at the real estate were more than helpful and we will definitely be stopping there again.
      Only one suggestion would be to clean out the washing machine. The mould from the door remaining closed.

      Amazing holiday. Our best family holiday to date. Everything was perfect. The home, the pool, the pool table, the views, the dolphins, omg I could go on forever.
      We loved it so much we have already booked and will be back again in January 2024.
      The only thing that could improve this stay is to have a spa put in. Otherwise, a fantastic home, the best holiday and thank you.
      Highly recommend this stay to everyone.

      24 Hibbard is an excellent home with all the right facilities in a great location. The wharf is perfect for our small boat providing easy access to the canals and a 5 minute trundle out to the river. Close to shops as well. Perfect quiet spot for relaxing river getaway.
