  Our time at Port Macquarie was made extra special because of staying at this beautiful holiday home that literally felt like home the minute with opened the front door! So many thoughtful touches and the communication around the does, don’ts and how to work everything was exceptional! The location was perfect, everywhere only took 10 mins to get to!! Our favourite thing was being able to walk straight out and fish off the jetty...highlight for our children. We would definitely come back and stay!

  We had an amazing time here the house was great, kitchen was well equipped. The views were so relaxing I was happy just sitting outside on the huge balcony for the whole week. Kids enjoyed fishing and the kayaking. The only thing I would say is to replace the carpet in lounge room and hallway to something more manageable like floorboards or tiles. Definitely recommend this place.

  Things that need upgrading:
  -Furniture a little old
  - The tv didn’t work for the whole stay
  - The fridge was not working the first two days, even after we turned the switch off and back on
  - Vacuum smells and doesn’t suck, overall doesn’t do it’s job
  Overall the view was insane for the week and our family enjoyed it, but for the third time staying here I’d you guys would update the furniture by now.

  The owners have done an amazing job with the few little touch ups they have done since we started coming here 3 years ago.
  We love the new jetty. The kids love the place and are looking forward to next year. The real estate are awesome to deal with, the kids loved going to hydro golf the owners are amazing with the kids, the new chef at hibbards sports club is the best.

  House is in a great location .Great for fishing off the back Getty. However the Getty needs some maintenance . Lovely big back verandah to use for meals and to unwind.The house was clean on arrival. The photos online, however, were very deceiving-they look great online but not in reality. The bedrooms are dark and small. Only 2 bedrooms have ceiling fans. 3rd bedroom had nothing. The air-conditioning struggled to cool down the house on hot days. The furnishings throughout the house were very outdated and old. The second toilet was in a small cupboard in the laundry.This rental property needs some TLC.

  3rd visit to our favourite holiday home in port Macquarie!! Great location, close to beaches, shops, local tavern and all the best fishing spots including right from your own private jetty. The kids also loved swimming, spotting fish swimming around the jetty, feeding the birds and had fun with the kayaks. Plenty of parking, plenty of room for our 4.5m stacer motor boat. We could not recommend this Vacation rental enough it is extremely comfortable with everything you need our kids slept all night !! and very friendly neighbours, very clean and tidy home very welcoming. Enjoy all your meals on the lovely outdoor undercover area with fantastic water views while the kids play in the water or fish from the jetty what more could you want. Have already booked our next stay, 5 star rating wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

  This was our second time staying here and it is not our last. We find the home perfect for us as it is close to everything we want and the jetty is perfect for hubby to lounge room fish as he calls it.He always catches something which makes him happy. The home itself is a very well equipped home away from home as we find it very comfortable. Our only thing is the main bedroom is too light for us to sleep in so we sleep in the back bedroom which is darker for us. Thank you for having your home available for us to stay in, we will be back

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Port Macquarie on the Hibbard Canal. The house was extremely comfortable and superbly equipped. Enjoyed our breakfasts watching the sea plane taxi down the canal. Not something that you see every day.

  If you after luxury then this isn’t the place ! It’s clean and warm however very outdated and feels like a deceased estate - the kitchen has been modernised however the rest of the house remains in its original state. The lightening is inadequate in the living room making reading impossible and the furniture is straight out of the seventies, the dooner and pillows felt very thin - definitely need to pack your own pillows.Launching the boat from the house is only possible if you have a tinny with a small trailer as it’s a very narrow drive through garage.
  Parking on the road is very tight as it’s opposite the sports stadium so many cars are parked on the street so trying to reverse a large boat trailer was definitely a challenge.
  However being able to moor your boat in front of the house made accessing the water very pleasant and the neighbours were lovely .
